Hi, I'm Rhiannon.
I am a self-taught photographer with over almost 10 years of experience shooting portraits.
For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to capture all the quiet details that make up our lives. The texture of an old flannel shirt...steam rising out of a coffee cup at dawn...dust floating in late afternoon sun rays...water droplets on skin...a grandpa's eye crinkles...the dimples in a baby's cheek...the smile a mother gives her child...the character in hands.
My favorite thing about this art form is the way it allows us to see ourselves in beautiful and unexpected ways. A great photograph has the power to give us confidence, flood us with nostalgia, make us appreciate our unique stories, and fill us with love for our lives and the people we cherish most.
It brings me joy to help my clients capture not just great photos to mark years and milestones, but to see and honor the details that make them who they are.
I live in Christiana, TN with my husband, Chris, our son, Arlo, and our two dogs, Bear and Badger.

My Style
I primarily photograph outdoors and use available sunlight (golden hour!) but I utilize homes on occasion, too.
When capturing individuals, I work very closely with my subjects to create movements and artistic scenes that are free-spirited and expressive.
With couples and families, I take a more journalistic approach, helping to set up a concept for each shot before giving direction and stepping back to observe and capture all the candid moments that result.
I process every photo individually and let it tell its own story, but you can reliably expect your images to be vibrant, warm, engaging, and unique with earth-inspired tones and captivating compositions.
Every person who loves my work is my ideal client, but if you love nature, like your photos to be a bit more dramatic than everyday life, and don't mind getting a little dirty for the sake of unique art, we're really going to get along!

Inspired by Ironweed
Ironweed is a native plant that grows in the fields near my Christiana home. It’s known for its tough stem and ability to grow just about anywhere. Considered by many to be a troublesome weed, it comes back year after year, blazing with iridescent purple flowers that attract butterflies and glow in the heat of late-summer sunsets.
Ironweed’s nature and its name reminds me of moments that exude natural beauty, untamed spirit, quiet strength, passion, drive, color, and resilience.
